Never has my opinion so changed about AI
No spoilers for tonight's episode, I just wanted to comment on the singers left. When the top 24 were picked, there were a few I couldn't stand to listen to, as in, their voices made me go 'nonononono!' (Yeah.) Well, Jacob Lusk still holds that spot, but Haley Reinhart has completely won me over. I still like Lauren a lot, and I love her voice. I think she's a natural performance, but she's been playing it way too safe. I can't say that Haley's my favorite, but she's right behind Lauren now. I also like Scotty and Casey still, but it's definitely the girls I'm rooting for.

I really like Haley, too -- I think it was "Benny and the Jets" that did it. And in a season with Simon judging, she would've been gone at top 9, for sure. I like how positive judging has given contestants confidence, and time to really come into their own. Casey has more than earned his save with his performances. Scotty is getting to be like David Archuleta for me -- in that I love him, and when he sings...I love him a little less. :x I still think he and James are uber-talented, and the only reason I'd rather Lauren not win is because I think it's what Uncle Nigel wants, LOL! But she's very good. I love her duets with Scotty. :)

Idol has had several really great nights this year, where everyone has been incredible. I don't remember that happening since S7! Yay, new judges! :D

I'm glad you've changed your mind about Haley and have given her a chance. I really don't like the way Jacob sings or his voice. (He reminds me of the screechy girl last season). It just grates on me. I'm ready for him to be gone. And it's weird but James Durbin is starting to get on my nerves, too and I really used to like him.
