30 Day Love-Meme, Day 25
Day 25 - A pairing that was/would-be adorable, but could never work out?

Michael Scott and Pam Halpert (Steve Carell and Jenna Fischer), The Office

I know this is insane. I know it would, could, should never happen. I know that Pam belongs with Jim and they are adorable, perfect, and awesome. (And Michael belongs with Holly!) I totally, absolutely, completely know that. Still, in an alternate universe, I think that Michael and Pam would be adorable.

He does genuinely care for her and Pam probably understands him and can get to him as no one else can. Is it more of a mothering type of thing? Yeah, but in teeny, tiny, microscopic moments here and there, they can so darn cute!

I KNOW! Sorry, hiddeneloise

hehe I see it too sometimes =P
I think the first time I saw hints of it was during that episode where he goes to her art-show and tells her how amazing her work is after she overheard everyone more or less bashing it (I think it was the same epsiode he was a guest speaker at Ryan's bussiness school); can't remember the name of the episode though =(

Phew! I'm not the only one then. Yay!
she was a work in progress.: Televisiondreamer_98 on January 15th, 2011 02:07 am (UTC)
Intersting pairing. I do actually think they've had some nice, genuine moments.

But yes, Michael belongs with Holly! They must get together before he leaves.

He does belong with Holly. The show better not let me down; I mean why else did they bring her back, damnit?!?!

I do actually think they've had some nice, genuine moments.

I know, right?!

As someone who sort of grew to be hugely indifferent to Jim/Pam...pretty much after season 3 of "The Office," I don't have any problem at all with your pairing (heck, I'm the only person in the world who thought Jim was kind of a jerk and a bully, and Dwight didn't have all those pranks coming to him :x )

LOL! I think I'd agree with the Jim/Dwight stuff were it not for the snowball episode. I REALLY hated how far they took Dwight and the nasty, bullying aspect of it. I get that Jim started it, but it was once again a case of Dwight going too far and I hate when they do that with Dwight because I want to like him.

Wow, talk about going off-topic. Yay, Michael and Pam!
