Alas, Another One Bites the Dust
Although I had high hopes for Eureka and even watched the first two episodes, midway through the third episode, I gave up. While I do find Colin Ferguson (Jack) DIVINE! and Joe Morton, Jo (the deputy) and Jack's daughter wonderful, it just doesn't hold my interest. I think this show is a case of wonderful concept, so-so execution. And frankly, there is just TOO MUCH good television out there to spend my time on a show that can't sustain my interest past two and half episodes.

Now, I just have to watch Brotherhood -- three episodes queued -- and see if I like that one!

You know - I was all meh for the first two shows too. Okay but nothing riveting. But I kept thinking give it time, give it time. I was at the theatre last night and by the time I got home I thought I could watch Eureka - as I had taped it but the idea just didn't thrill me. I'm afraid I'm losing interest too. I don't like the females on the show very much I'm afraid and I think that's part of it.
