Oh no, Natasha Richardson critically injured
She's one of my favorite actress and has been for a very long time. She was in a ski accident and suffered traumatic brain injury. IKES!

Natasha Richardson, the wife of Irish superstar Liam Neeson, has been critically injured in Canada, according to an insider at the Montreal hospital to which she was taken. Richardson, who was set to co-star with her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, in a Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music," was apparently injured in a tragic ski accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury. It is not known whether Neeson is at his wife's side... source

So sad.

Oh, God, no...

I really love her, too. And man, I so feel for Neeson and their kids (kid?, I'm not sure how many they have). God, I hope it's better than they think. I hope she can come out of it!

So awful.

Yeah, I know. I know that they were both married to other people when they met, but it really seemed like it was one of those soulmate situations because they fell in love, divorced their spouses, got married and have been (as far as it's been known) blissfully happy since.

I hope she comes out of it too. She's a brilliant, warm actress. If you haven't seen The White Countess (with her and Ralph Fiennes - the second film they did together), I recommend it highly. They are both magnificent in it, great film, last Merchant-Ivory, and it's probably my favorite performance by her.

Oh, I saw it! I love that film! Sigh. I loved Natasha ever since The Handmaid's Tale. And Widow's Peak. And Nell.

It's just .... sigh.

I got the link from ONTD, I haven't heard anything else, but when I do, I'll probably post here. I really do love her. *sigh* When I first discovered her, I went through and watched every single thing she's ever done and I believe I've seen everything she's done since then. Such a shame.

That's terrible. I hope she ends up being okay, and that nothing is permanent.

That's terrible! I hope things aren't as dire as these rather sketchy reports would indicate.

Oh no! That's awful, I haven't seen that many of her movies but I've always loved her in what I've seen :( Plus, I adore Liam Neeson, that's so awful for him and the kid(s)!

I ditto all the people who hope she pulls through :-/
