'Faking It' by Jennifer Crusie (Much Love)
So, I read "Faking It" last night by Jennifer Crusie and fell completley and utterly in love with it and decided that if the right director with a deft touch did it, this could make a GREAT comedy/romance. Of course, the chances of that happening are nil, about as likely as hollywood actually making a movie based on a romance, but I still thought it would be fun to cast it for anyone out there who's read it.

And fellow VM-watchers, tell me that I'm not the only one who totally got flashes of Veronica in Tilda (and not just because of Veronica and Betty)?

I loved Faking It. Have you read Welcome to Temptation yet? That's where we fist meet the crazy Dempsey family. I loved Davey in that one and was so happy to see they continued his story.

I read the book long before VM started, so I don't know about the Veronica comparisons. I might have to re-read it again to see.

I think I got that from the library. I just ordered a bunch today. I'll see if it's there when they come in. Ooh, more of the Dempsey family? I'm assuming it's Sophie/Phinn? Or maybe Amy, who we didn't meet? Hmm, don't tell me. I'll find out.

Oh, totally reread it. Tilda reminded me of Veronica quite a bit. I was actually telling myself that give it a few more years (this is Hwood, they'd go younger) and KB and JD would be perfect (if you ignore the hair colors and stuff) for Tilda and Davy.
