So, yeah, Hawthorne. And I'm totally shipping!
I dropped Royal Pains after two episodes and so didn't want to write raving about another new USA show if I was just gonna drop it again, but, but, but ... I've now watched three episodes of Hawthorne and while it definitely has some problems, I like it overall. Jada Pinkett Smith is wonderful, and, and, and MICHAEL VARTAN!!! And I'm totally shipping Pinkett Smith's Christina Hawthorne and Vartan's Tom Wakefield. I tried not to, but, but, but ... they have chemistry and they had these wonderfully squee-worthy moments in the most recent episodes.

*sigh*

Did you watch tonight's episode?!?!? It was aaaaahhh!! When he touched her back (I was like: 'he touched her!') and he helped her break down the room. And there were scenes where Michael Vartan was doing the furrowed brow thing he does so well, oh, oh and he stuck up for her to Bill Buchanan (you know from 24). Ah, they do have chemistry! (And at this point, have a better shot of happening than Sheldon and Penny AND House and Cameron!)

I couldn't watch it today because I had to fix my computer but I'll watch online. ^_^

I admit that I pretty much have no hope left for H/C, but I genuinely do think that S/P have a great shot, I do.

I liked the main character and those two teenagers, plus the Indian assistant, but I didn't like the brother or love interest. And I found the heavy-handed way they kept making lead guy be all noble off-putting. I wanted to love it because I did love the Pilot, but ah well.

... Michael Vartan? I may have to go watch this show.

Yes, and he is A-DOR-A-BLE!!!!!! It's only had three episodes air so far, so you're good. We saw him the most in this most recent one.
